How to Measure Character Skirts
Take your little ballerina's waist measurement whilst she is relaxed... make sure she's not breathing in! Our waistbands are adjustable. For instance, the 24" skirt may be tightened to fit a 23" waist girl. (There's also nearly 1" of growing room allowed).
Her length measurement should be taken from waist to mid calf (which is the widest part of the lower leg) The skirt length is measured from the waistband seam.Please don't be tempted to add too much for growing room. These skirts should not be worn too long. Older girls' skirts should ideally be no more than 3" below the knee.
